Volunteer Descriptions
Anywhere Needed : Volunteer to help with anything, and we'll assign you where we need you!
Announcers: Put on your announcer voice and announce the day’s events from the press box!
Band Liaison: Stay with one band all day and be responsible for getting them from place to place on time.
Cafeteria: Feed the bands lunch and dinner in the cafeteria.
Communications: Help tie it all together by being a communications hub via 2-way radio.
Dressing Rooms: Assist in keeping the dressing rooms tidy where the guard girls and bands change.
First Aid: Be available to offer assistance to visiting band students who get overheated or need band aids.
Food Concessions: Sell food at the concessions stand.
Hospitality: Assist in serving food in directors’ room.
Instrument Repair: Help in the instrument repair booth, as a "gofer". No training or experience required!
Parking: Assist in getting cars parked on the stadium side and redirect to satellite lots when necessary.
Performance Prep: Help water all the participating bands during their warm-up and post performance times.
Photography: Assist in arranging bands on risers for photo shoot and help kids fill out order forms.
Program Sales: Assist in selling programs throughout the stadium.
Roadies: Help with all things "roadie like"!
Scoring and Tabulation: Collect judges scores, enter them into the scoring system, and deliver results.
Spirit Wear: Work at the Spirit Wear booth selling Lassiter Band stuff.
Ticket Sales: Assist in selling tickets at the ticket booth, attaching and checking wrist bands.
Ushers: Assist people traffic flow inside stadium as well as help clear the stadium after prelims.
Video: Assist the video crew in any way necessary; work the video order booth.
Volunteer Coordinators: Assign walk-on volunteers to a work assignment on the day of the event.
